THERE is a saying that “whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad with power.” In the case of Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s loyal henchmen, that should be shortened by omitting the last two words. Maybe the megalomania toxins in Malacañang can really addle the brain. Add to that all the narcissism particles in the air that one can inhale or take in by osmosis even while doing the most mundane thing as trying to look intelligent, and you have Cabinet members who are no match for Dustin Hoffman in “Rain Man.”
After Secretary Mike Defensor’s presentation of his revelations of the spliced tape, Malacañang is now in extreme danger of really being called a nuthouse, and his boss as a woman who is now “spliced for life.” This administration is going down in history not only as the most despised, but also as the most laughed at. It should not insult further the intelligence of the people who can see through their shenanigans. Its attempts to win back the public’s attention are hilarious,
but this latest act of Defensor is murderous. It is the blade that strikes the deathblow to the administration’s heart. After this, Mike Defensor will never be the same again.

Let us not join the opposition bandwagon. It is easier to oppose than to work together. Why should we take opposition stand as ideal? We Filipinos, as oppositionists, succeeded twice in bringing down the govt. Did it bring us anywhere? Now, there’s another round of black propaganda, should we fall for the same trap again, isn’t it better to let our constitutional processes work? Besides, what clear alternative is the opposition presenting? We, the thinking majority, choose to follow the more difficult path of unity and working together.

the opposition took to the streets at the first sign of anomaly. When rallies failed to bring GMA down, they settled for the impeachment process. But with the previous administration, the then opposition solons opted for the impeachment process first, and then the streets. This is the key to why the present opposition failed. Now, if i were a congressman, i’d kill the complaint now (that’s what they’re doing, thank god). why give the opposition a chance when they took to the streets and called for the president to resign without any proof beyond reasonable doubt? Now, they want the admin solons to give them an easy time and to endorse the complaint to the Senate at once!! aba, mga anak ng diyos yata etong mga oposisyon!!! ano kayo, swerti??

hindi natin alam kung ano ang talagang nangyari ukol sa mga tapes na yan. kaya nga may impeachment, para mailantad na ang katotohanan. e ayaw nilang ilantad ang katotohanan. nakakadiri sila. hindi ako pro-fpj or pro-escudero o kung anuman. pero naniniwala ako na kung may akusasyon at ebidensya na BINALEWALA ng isang presidente ang katotohanan sa eleksyon, dapat tignan at suriin ng mabuti ang mga akusasyon na ito. at ang impeachment process ang tamang lugar. hindi naman kailangan maging pro-oposiyson para maniwala sa TAMA at sa MAKATWIRAN. e putsa, halatang hindi naman nila gustong malaman ang katotohanan, tinatago pa nila. ang gusto lang nila, manatili sa gloria at ang mga sarili nila. sa totoo lang, may pagka-marcos ang ginagawa ni gloria ngayon. kadiri talaga.

Don’t u think that everything that is happening in the country right now is only a prelude of what is yet to come? sometimes, when i am in my ‘lucid intervals’ I begin contemplating on a lot of things as regards the course of governance and then you know, I realize that all these are thoroughly predictable if we’d only read between the lines. It doesn’t take another einstein to grind the same.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are on the brink of a major political change. The salient question is, “What kind of change?” Again and I reiterate if only to underscore its figurative meaning, IT DOESN’T TAKE ANOTHER EINSTEIN TO know the answer. good evening po!
